A bit more about me
With a deep-rooted passion for food and a relentless pursuit of optimal health, I’ve dedicated my life to the field of nutrition and dietetics. My journey began with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico, followed by a Master’s degree from New Mexico State University. With over a decade of experience in this field, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings that have enriched my understanding of nutrition’s profound impact on our well-being.
My career has taken me on a rewarding path through various facets of nutrition and dietetics. As a clinical dietitian in a hospital setting, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of personalized nutrition in improving the lives of patients facing various health challenges. Specializing in oncology and dialysis, I’ve worked with individuals during their most vulnerable moments, helping them navigate the complexities of nutrition during their treatment journeys.
My expertise extends beyond clinical settings. I’ve also delved into food service management, where I’ve honed my skills in creating nourishing and delicious meals for institutions and organizations. In addition, I’ve embraced the world of private practice, where I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients seeking solutions for their unique nutritional needs.
I’m not just a dietitian; I’m a foodie at heart. My love for culinary arts fuels my commitment to making nutrition accessible, enjoyable, and practical. I firmly believe that food is not just sustenance; it’s an expression of culture, pleasure, and healing. Whether you’re struggling with gut health, managing chronic conditions like IBS/IBD, kidney disease, or diabetes, seeking weight management solutions, or simply aiming to improve your overall well-being, I’m here to guide you on your path to a healthier, happier you.
My mission is to empower you with evidence-based nutrition knowledge and personalized guidance, tailored to your unique goals and lifestyle. Together, we’ll uncover the transformative potential of food and nutrition in your life.
Thank you for joining me on this journey towards better health through the power of nutrition. I look forward to being a part of your story and helping you achieve your health and wellness aspirations.
